Welcome to Teacher's Pet ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Teacher's Pet platform, tools, automations, and internal messaging systems. By using Teacher's Pet, you agree to these Terms.

Teacher's Pet is designed exclusively for educators and internal staff members who have been authorized to access the system. The platform is not intended for public use.

1. Use of the Service

Teacher's Pet provides workflow automation tools that assist teachers with:

  • Submitting voice notes
  • Tracking classroom moments
  • Receiving internal reminders
  • Generating weekly email summaries for parents
  • Managing class-related workflows

SMS reminders are sent only to teachers for internal organizational purposes.

Teacher's Pet does not send SMS messages to parents, students, or the public.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login information
  • Ensuring your phone number and contact details are accurate
  • Using Teacher's Pet only for legitimate educational purposes
  • Complying with applicable school policies

You may not use Teacher's Pet for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose.

3. Consent to Receive SMS

By using Teacher's Pet and submitting your phone number during onboarding, you consent to receive internal SMS reminders related to your weekly tasks and workflow.

You may reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.

Message & data rates may apply.

4. Email Communication

Teacher's Pet may generate email communications to parents on behalf of the teacher.

These emails are informational and related to student progress.

Parents do not receive SMS messages.

5. Data Usage

Teacher and student information is processed solely for educational and operational purposes.

Data practices are outlined in our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Providers

Teacher's Pet uses third-party services (such as messaging or transcription providers) to operate the platform.

These providers are permitted to use information only as needed to deliver the service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any misuse, security concerns, or policy violations.

You may discontinue use at any time and request data deletion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Teacher's Pet is provided "as is," without warranties.

We are not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays
  • Message delivery issues
  • Technical outages
  • Lost or corrupted data

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as needed.

Your continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of any changes.
